I'll be posting my looks where I have combined many of my own products with store bought ones.

This one was my yesterday's shopping look. I did add leather jacket to it so that it was warm enough to go outside even though it was quite sunny.

<![CDATA[Pleat dresses]]>Mon, 11 May 2015 07:46:41 GMThttp://roguebytiinaulkuniemi.weebly.com/blog/pleat-dressesToday I have time to make a new post for you since I'm home trying to heal my leg since I was in a surgery last Thursday. Nothing serious but now my leg is quite purple so I have to stay home this week.

Two month ago I made this cool plum red dress for blogger Bones&Lilies to wear at The Finnish Game Awards. She was also wearing my black&white Ouija handbag and our collaboration project moth necklace.
I loved the dress so much that I just had to make one for me too. Just slightly different. Mine is made out of jersey so it does not require a zipper and I did not make the lowered necklace. I really loved the plum red fabric but I made mine out of some free fabric that I got from my mom.

I'm in love with the "sleeves" and I have used them in many dresses now. I can't help it I just like them. And also they widen my shoulder so that my hips don't look so wide.
<![CDATA[Summer dresses]]>Mon, 04 May 2015 15:11:08 GMThttp://roguebytiinaulkuniemi.weebly.com/blog/summer-dressesI fell in love with this geometrical printed blue viscose fabric. And since I just love waterfall neckline decided you use it to this dress. The straps are real leather. I had to spray paint the buckles black since none of the stores here sell black buckles.

I still have some fabric left so I can make some kind of top. I have no idea where am I going to wear a dress this girly. It can be used with different kinds of belts but I combined the dress with this leather/cotton obi belt that is made by me but it is not originally my design.

Originally I was planing to screen print my own moth fabric but I didn't find specific shade of grey that I was looking for. In the mean time this dress will do just fine.
And since I rarely make just one dress with the same pattern I had to make a maxi dress version. I fell in love with maxi dresses last summer. Even thought they use up quite big amount of fabric. This fabric was also viscose.
<![CDATA[Today's outfit]]>Sun, 03 May 2015 14:26:08 GMThttp://roguebytiinaulkuniemi.weebly.com/blog/todays-outfitI know I haven't posted anything in ages. But I've had some trouble coming up with new ideas. I guess you could call it some kind of spring depression. Don't get me wrong I love spring but I think the problem lies right there. Finally when it's sunny outside I really don't want to be indoors in front of my sewing machine or computer.

Also I just started a new job at a firm that makes work clothes and there is so million new things to learn that were not taught to me at school. It is really hard to teach your brain and hands to do something completely differently than you have been doing for last 10 years.

Yesterday I went to the movies with Mr. Grumpy. I had the tickets on my phone and of course I forgot my phone home. Good thing Mr Grumpy was with his bicycle and went to get the phone and got back just in time for the trailers. And today I forgot my work place's key card home. This job is totally making my brain melt.

<![CDATA[My outfit]]>Fri, 27 Feb 2015 13:44:28 GMThttp://roguebytiinaulkuniemi.weebly.com/blog/my-outfitI made this amazing outfit for Pendulum's gig few weeks ago. The necklace is scale mail. And I added some metal to the dress too.

The scales and rings are aluminum so the necklace is not heavy even thought it is huge. I can make these necklaces for sale if somebody is interested in buying one.

The dress has under-wires on the cups. I think I have mastered making them since I have made so many dresses last year.
<![CDATA[Velvetines]]>Fri, 27 Feb 2015 13:34:05 GMThttp://roguebytiinaulkuniemi.weebly.com/blog/velvetinesI still had some velvet left from the maxi dress project so I made all these items.
I really need to wash them before wearing them since the fabric gives off color and dyed my nails while sewing these pieces.

I wanted to make this a similar shape as black milk has since I really like it.
I know you have seen this shape many times already from me but every time I use different fabric to get different outcome.
<![CDATA[Oh Factory]]>Fri, 27 Feb 2015 13:12:59 GMThttp://roguebytiinaulkuniemi.weebly.com/blog/oh-factoryMy harnesses were used in the latest OH FACTORY's Dress up casual photo shoot. Pictures were taken by Marko Saari and model was the always amazing Didi Ou.
I'm loving the idea of wearing harnesses with totally different type of clothes
<![CDATA[Website is done!]]>Fri, 06 Feb 2015 09:27:26 GMThttp://roguebytiinaulkuniemi.weebly.com/blog/website-is-doneWell finally I got my website done! It took lot me around two weeks to finish after starting since it was soooo slow. I would like to hear your thoughts about it.

I have also been making new items. I made this top for me. But I think I'm going to share it with you guys. :) This is a great top for summer to be worn with shorts or high waisted skirt. Fabric is 95% viscose and 5% elastane. The print is pearly white.
I've also been doing something else.

I've been dreaming of buying this Black Milk burned velvet maxi dress. But since they always seem to be out of stock I ended up making similar shaped velvet dress myself. I think I like the "print" of the fabric on my own dress more than the original. Just because I don't really care for flowers. The original dress is 120 AUD + taxes and I paid 15 € for the fabric for my own version.
So not bad?

I keep making clothes for summer time. I guess I'm just eagerly waiting for summer to arrive faster.
